Sam hated leaving Jen alone even if Harley was with her. She knew just how scared she'd be if it would have been the other way around. At least now that Harley was calm again, Sam knew he'd look after his girl.

She finally stopped yelling once she saw Steve and by the time she stopped, she was so flustered, she had to make herself talk as she tried to catch her breath and calm herself down. "Harley, he...he got spooked and he fell...Jen fell. He took off before I could stop him. Jen..." She started crying again. "He took off...dragging her. She can't move. I couldn't bring her back." Sam didn't wait around for them and she didn't get off of Lily. Once she told them what happened, she took back off for the trail, wanting to get back to Jen. They'd soon catch up with her and Lily.
