Before Sam found out she was pregnant with Noah, she'd barely had morning sickness. She wasn't complaining and after almost a week, being pregnant crossed her mind. She swore with her next pregnancy she'd recognize the symptoms sooner. She did not.

To her credit though, she had been exposed to some kind of nasty stomach bug. The first day she started feeling bad, she wasn't surprised when she went running from the dinner table, straight to the bathroom and emptying the contents of her stomach.

Hank made a little purr mixed with a meow and a yelp sound as Sam shoved him off Steves lap and onto the couch, turning and batting gently at her hand and while it seemed he had chosen Steve as his favorite, he liked Sam, he still cuddled with her, and he didnt have a mean bone in his body, just a lot of annoying ones, and he batted at her hand again gently before curling up next to Steve. Steve nods his head and takes a breath, not realizing hes holding it until she says its positive and he lets the breath out, "What? Its ... we're gonna have a baby?" He asked excitedly, looking to see for himself and smiling when he sees the test, wrapping both arms around her and kissing her soundly.

While it always seemed like there was a war going on between Sam and Hank, there really wasn't. It was more or less just a game they both liked to play. When he batted at her hand, she laughed softly and scratched part of his stomach. Sam was smiling while Steve sorted out in his head that yes, she said the test was positive and they were having a baby. "Yeah, we're gonna have a baby." she smiled widely, hugging him tight. "Noah's gonna be a big brother."

"I ... I cant believe it ... we're ... we're ... Noahs gonna be a big brother ... oh god my mother" He snorted, hugging her tight and kissing her neck, "Shes gonna freak out, do we ... should we wait until we get your first appointment outta the way before we tell anyone? So we can show 'em ultrasound pictures?" He asked.
