Sam shrugged because she hadn't thought about it one way or the other. "Well, I guess I just had a stomach flu at first but look at me now. I'm getting sick at all weird times of the day. There's just no pattern. I don't know what else it could be." she pointed out, looking out into the yard at Noah when Steve did. "If that's not it, then I'm gonna have to go see a doctor and find out what's wrong."

Steve looked out at Noah and then back at Sam, squeezing her hand gently, "Well ... I mean, we have been tryin' I just ... I didnt even think it could be that" He said, feeling silly for putting that out of his mind, "Do we still have tests upstairs or should I run out and get a few?" He asked. Noah standing up just as Kojak came barreling towards him and knocked him over, sending him into a fit of giggles as he licked his face and hands and feet, making Steve laugh, "Thank god he bounces, and he dont cry much" He chuckled.

"That stomach flu threw us off, too. I think if I'd just started randomly getting sick, we would have though of it quicker." She had felt so sick, she'd put just about everything out of her mind. "I'll go check them in a little bit and make sure they're not expired. If they are, you can get a couple." She didn't think they were since they'd only bought them a few months ago. She watched Noah and braced herself, knowing what was about to happen, glad to see it made him laugh instead of cry. I guess growing up with Kojak, he just thinks that's normal."

He tugs on her hand and leans in closer so he can kiss her, "I love you" He smiled, kissing her once more and then looking over at Noah, "Maybe those ears and that bald heard are good for somethin' ... make 'im aerodynamic enough to fall and not get hurt" He chuckled, watching Noah stand back up and hang all over Kojak whos totally fine with is and just stands there, toy in his mouth as Noah practically climbs on him, tugs his ears, hangs over his back, petting his head a little harder than mommy and daddy usually did and for a three year old pup, he was pretty tolerant of it all.

She looked over at Steve before slipping into his lap, kissing and nuzzling against him. "I love you, too. Are you ready for another baby if a test is positive?" she asked, knowing they'd actually planned this one, though Noah being a surprise was something she enjoyed. "He is getting a little more hair on his head, it's just so damn blonde it's hard to see but the ears..." she playfully shook her head, "they're not gonna change." She didn't care because he was a beautiful little baby who already looked like his dad. She was quiet as they watched Noah with Kojak, just letting the little boy do whatever he wanted and not walking off or getting mad. "Kojak is so good with him."

"Im ready," he started, "at least, I think I'm ready" he chuckled, "We made it through Noah, and he was a total surprise, we actual planned this one" he smiled, kissing her cheek and temple, cuddling her close and looking at Noah and Kojak, "I was worried he'd be too crazy with 'im, but I can't believe how good he is, how good they are together," he said quietly, trying not to think about it but it was hard not to think ahead to ten or twelve years from now when Kojak was an old man, and they'd have to say their goodbyes to him. "Are you ready for a baby if that test is positive?" He asked.

She chuckled, "If the test is positive, then you better be ready for another one." She knew he was just teasing and he was right. They got through Noah and everything turned out great. "I was a little worried, not knowing how you'd feel when I had to tell you about Noah. I'm glad you were happy about it." She snuggled up against him as they watched their 'boys' while Hank stretched out on one of the lounge chairs. "We might have to get another dog if two babies are hanging all over him. Luckily right now, she was too busy thinking about a possible pregnancy to think about Kojak getting old or she would have been a little sad. "I'm ready. Do you think it'll be easier the second time around since we'll know what we're doing?"

"Ill be ready, I mean, look at Peanut, hes still alive" He snorted, hugging her close and and rubbing his finger tips over her arm and down to play with her wedding rings, "Noah was a surprise and the LAST thing I would have expected but, arent ALL first babies a surprise? I dont understand how they couldnt be" He chuckled, kissing her head again and glancing over at Hank, perfectly content and then at Noah, now laying down in the grass with Kojak who was all stretched out on his side, Noah laying on top of him and snuggling with him. "Maybe when number two gets a little older we'll think about another dog, I cant imagine a puppy and a baby at the same time" He chuckled, shrugging a bit, "I dont know, I would hope some stuff would be a bit easier, like diapers, and the whole sleep schedule thing, just knowin' what to expect, but, all pregnancies and babies are different, it'll be fun, and I promise I wont be a big asshole this time around like I was with Noah"

"I don't know. I guess some people plan their first babies but most probably are surprises." She didn't know anybody who actually planned their first child and assumed there would be a lot less people in the world if they did. While Sam wasn't opposed to another dog at all, a new dog and baby at the same time did not sound appealing. "We definitely need to wait a while for a second dog, especially if it's a puppy. I think that would drive us both crazy. Only one baby anything at a time." She was feeling better about a second pregnancy, not as worried about it all as she was the first time. "It would all have to be easier. Sure, it could be different but you're still doing the same things. We'll know there's night time feedings and adjusting to nursing and hopefully the baby will adjust quickly to nursing. I bet we won't be as stressed this time. That should mean a less nervous baby which should mean less crying." She was hopeful and she'd read up on her books. "When were you a big asshole with Noah?" she asked, her brow furrowed because either he wasn't or she just didn't remember.

"Noah was a pretty good baby though, I mean, lookin' back on it, at the time I know we though we was dyin' some nights, but he really was a good baby" He smiled, just thinking about having another baby and getting to go through all the ups and downs of having a little tiny baby again. He chuckles and then thinks for a minute, "Hmmm lets see, well I started a fight over paper towels, I seem to recall bringin' pizza home, that resulted in a fight and you goin' and sittin' in a car, a few facebook fights, ummm, I almost caused you not to get an epidural ... or the end of our marriage" he chuckled, but in all seriousness, he really did feel bad about those times, "And those weekend trainings I couldnt get away from goin' to, those sucked, and will continue to suck and ..." he's about to say something else but trails off and realizes its better left unsaid.

"Now we know that letting a baby cry, no matter how bad they sound, isn't going to kill them or hurt them in some way and sometimes they actually comfort themselves." It was hard to listen to Noah cry but she knew that depending on the circumstance, they wouldn't run and try to comfort the next baby so quickly. A lot of that stuff Sam had forgotten and some of those arguments were stupid. "You know, I wanted to bop you in the head with your paper towels that day. The pizza, it wasn't the reason for the fight. The baby just didn't like the smell of pizza that day and it made me sick. The fan fight was something else. I'd been hot all day and you came home to me barely dressed, acted like a big ASS, telling me to put on clothes because we might get company. Remember that?" she asked, hugging him tight and kissing his temple. "The facebook fights was because of pictures and shit other people were posting and tagging you in. The epidural, oh yeah, I was ready to kill you over that." she chuckled. When he trailed off, she had an idea of where he was going with that and she also left it alone, not wanting him going overseas again.

He nodded his head and chuckled as he thought about those fights, all of them seeming so silly now, but at the time, boy they were anything BUT silly. He hugs her tight, rubbing her back and kissing her forehead, her cheek and then her lips once shes finished. "I love you, you know that right?" He smiled, "No matter what, I dont think I tell you I love you enough ... not like I used to before we because a family." He said softly.

Those fights always seemed worse than they were because they rarely did fight. It just made the few they had really stand out. She leaned against him and nodded her head. "Of course, I know that. Even if you only told me that once a day, I'd still know that." she assured him, smiling and kissing him softly. "Those fights, you know those are basically the only fights we had the entire time I was pregnant with Noah, right? I think that's why they seem like they were so huge. Look at some of our friends or some of the people you work with who DO fight all the time. We're not like that and we're never gonna be."

He kissed her back and nodded his head, "I know, I know, we could be MUCH worse when it comes to fights, especially with your temper" He teased, kissing her again and hugging her close, playing with her wedding rings and looking over at Noah, "You ready to be a mommy again?" He asked softly, kissing in front of her ear and moving her hair out of the way so he can kiss and nip her neck playfully, one hand moving to her tummy.

She giggled softly and pulled back, giving him that look of hers though there was a smile this time. "MY temper? Did you forget about the temper YOU have? It's a wonder we're not like that couple of The War of the Roses." she teased, nuzzling against him as she watched him play with her rings. "Yeah, I'm ready. Are you ready to be a daddy again? It's not too soon, is it? Noah's only two."

"MY temper? I dont know what you're talkin' about" He said with a little grin, looking over at Noah still sprawled out with Kojak and over to Hank, happily napping in one of the chairs near them, the hand on her tummy rubbing gently and he nods his head, "I got about eight months or so to get ready right?" He said with a straight face, and then smiled, "Im ready, and I dont think its too soon, by the time shes born, Noah will probably be close to three, they'll be a good age range"

"She? I haven't even taken the test yet and you've decided it's a girl?" she asked, nudging his shoulder with hers, clearly teasing him. "I thought Shrivers didn't have girls. He'd always told her that but it seemed like now he was wanting a little girl. "What if we're getting ourselves all worked up and I'm not even pregnant?"

He nods his head, "Yep, Ive decided its a girl, whether you're pregnant or not this time, its gonna be a girl, Shrivers dont have girls but ... I just have a feelin', call it a daddy hunch" He chuckled and then shrugged a bit, "If you're not, then we just keep tryin' like we have been." He said softly, kissing her and moving to stand up, "Come'on, lets get him inside and ill go look at those tests, make sure they're still good."

She had no problems with letting him check on those tests but felt it would be easier if she did it. "How about I go check those tests and if they're not expired, I can go ahead and take one and we can watch the stick, see if it changes colors?" She was anxious to know if she was pregnant or not. "If they're expired, you can go buy a couple more." she smirked, giving him a quick kiss before she stood up. "Come on, Noah, Kojak. Let's go inside and you and daddy can find something on TV to watch."

"You got a deal" He smiled, standing up and letting her head inside first, waiting for Kojak who trots along ahead of Noah and once Noah gets close to him Steve scoops him up and blows raspberries all over his tummy, making him giggle, "Dada stop" he laughed and Steve headed inside with him, "You're a good ya know that, you're such a goof" He smiled, setting Noah down and kissing his cheek, letting him run off and play as he looked around in the fridge for what to have for dinner.

Sam went on ahead to the bathroom and found the test kits. She was glad they hadn't yet expired since she hated to think they wasted that money for nothing. She took out one and put the other one back up. She scanned over the instructions before doing what they said and in a few minutes she walked into the living room with the test stick, plastic case covering the end. "It says we'll know in three minutes."

Steve had been sitting on the couch watching Noah play tug of war with Kojak, Hank perched on the edge of the couch, meowing at Sam when she walked in and Steve looks up at her, then down to his watch, "Three minutes" he sighed out, reaching for her to sit in his lap.

She looked down at Hank and made a face at him before sitting down on Steve's lap, her back to the cat. She smirked knowing that would get on his nerves. What a crazy game she and Hank liked to play. "Yes, three minutes." She held the stick in her hand but had it turned over so neither of them could see it yet.

When Sam sat down in Steves lap, Hank stood up and stretched, walking across the couch and over Sams legs, plopping himself on Steves lap as best he could, looking up at Sam with that "cat look" that said, nice try lady. Steve chuckled and kept one arm wrapped around Sam and moved his other hand to scratch under Hanks chin, glancing at his watch, "Times up, whats the verdict?"

Sam glanced down when she felt those little paws on her legs and she really should have seen that coming when he tried to share Steve's lap. He gave her the cat look and she gave him her look, pushing him off and onto the couch just because she could. She gave him another look that said 'take that'. "It's time already?" She picked up the test and flipped it over, seeing a blue line in the test and results window. "It's positive. We're gonna have another baby."
