Summer 2013 - Josh and Chloe are 3.5

Sam and Jen had been looking forward to Saturday all week. Carol would be watching Chloe and Josh while Sam and Jen took Lily and  Harley out on one of the trails. It had been a while since they'd both been out together. Rob and Steve were going to be working on their trucks, or so they said. Sam seen them more likely to sit out under one of the big shade trees with a cooler full of beer and doing nothing. She and Jen didn't mind. They were just excited about getting out on the trails.

Once they'd all eaten lunch and got the kids down for their naps, Sam pushed Steve against the wall and kissed him softly. "Sure you two don't wanna come with us?"

Steve waits at the door, starting to get nervous that something had happened to her, or she'd done something to herself because right now she wasn't in the best frame of mind. He hears the door unlock and twists the handle, opening the door and popping his head in "You okay?" He asked softly, looking at her from head to toe and then stepping in the bathroom, gently reaching for her "Get back in the shower baby, you're freezing" he said gently.

"I'm fine." she told him softly but clearly she wasn't. She was, however, doing fine considering everything that had happened. She didn't go to him when he reached for her because she was too cold. She stepped back inside the shower and popped her head out. "Get in with me?" she asked, looking up at him with her wide, blue eyes.

She barely gets the question out to join her and he's already tugged off his shirt and quickly tugs his pants and boxers down, kicking everything into a pile and hopping into the shower behind her, he waits a few moments before gently slipping an arm around her waist and pulling her back against his chest, kissing the side of her face and leaving his face there, breathing her in and while he's upset and confused and angry about Jen, he can't help but squeeze his eyes shut and thank whoever is responsible for keeping them on this earth for not taking Sam away from him. "I love you, so much" he whispered into her ear.

Once he'd gotten into the shower, she didn't move after he pulled her back against him and she leaned her head back against his chest. She hadn't told him yet but she had a similar thought that she couldn't get out of her head. While she was upset and angry about Jen, she was angry at herself for a thought that slipped into her head and just made her feel more guilty...that she was glad it hadn't happened to her. She just wished it hadn't happened to Jen. Once Steve spoke, she turned in his arms and hugged him tight. "I love you, too." she squeaked out, crying against his chest.

When she turns in his arms he wraps both arms around her tight, hugging her to his chest and he feels her body shake as she starts crying and he kisses her face again, rocking side to side slowly and keeping his lips against the side of her face "Shhhhh, Sammy, it's alright baby, it's gonna be okay" he whispered, "We're gonna get though this, I promise" he whispered, moving one hand up and down her back soothingly.

She didn't know how long they stood there with her face buried in his chest while she cried. She knew he was right but she just couldn't see it right now. After a while, her tears subsided and she looked up at him, "I know we will." She looked at him another moment before kissing him soft and slow.

He stays quiet, wanting to let her get out whatever words and or tears she needed to and when she kisses him, he kisses her back, keeping it soft and slow but deepening it slightly, his hands sliding over her ribs to the small of her back.

When he deepened the kiss, that prompted her to deepen it more and press him back against the shower wall. She had an agenda which was him, see the kids, eat, and then more of him. He just didn't know about it yet. "I need you, Steve."

He didn't want to push her into anything, and despite everything that had happened he needed her like he always needed her but he didn't know if she felt the sane right now, until she says she does and he sucks her bottom lip between his teeth, groaning into her mouth, hands sliding to her ass and squeezing as TD twitched between them and he lifts her up, turning and pressing her against the shower wall, "I'm here sweetheart" he whispered against her lips, TD pressing between her folds.

When it came to sex, she was just like he was. She needed him like she always needed him, if not more right now. She wrapped her legs around him and gasped softly when he pressed her back against the wall but it headed up fast. She could feel TD pressing against her and she rolled her hips, then slipped her hand between their bodies and rubbed against TD.

TD twitches when her hand touches him and Steve can't hold back any longer, gently moving his hips and slipping TD between her folds and with one push of his hips, buried him to the hilt, groaning and kissing her, harder this time than they'd been kissing moments before and he uses the wall to his advantage, finding a steady pace and rubbing against her clit each time he bees TD inside her.

One thing she liked is that Steve always seemed to be ready for her so when he shifted, she moved her hand, groaning when he pushed into her and she ground against him. "Oh god, you feel so good." she murmured into his mouth, returning that kiss just as hard and rocking her hips to meet his thrusts.

He groans into her mouth, holding her against him as he picks up the pace, he'd slow it down later tonight, but right now, he had a feeling they both needed something quick and hard. "Fuck, Sammy you feel so good" he grunted out, tearing his lips away and kissing her neck, moving his lips behind her ear and sucking a dark red mark on her skin.

He always seemed to know just how she needed it and right now, she did want a quickie, just to be able to feel and know she was right there with him. "Oh fuck, this is gonna be quick." she panted, letting her head fall back against the tiles. She gasped when he found that one spot they both liked and she gripped his shoulders tighter, her body tensing a moment and her muscles tightening around TD.

He feels her squeeze TD and he groans against her neck, nipping and kissing along her shoulder as he moves his hips quickly, TD ready to go any minute, "Oh fuck baby, I love you" he whispered against her ear, squeezing her against him, just needing to feel her.

When he held her tighter, she scraped her nails down his back before she gently dug them into his back when she came hard with a soft moan of his name and a hard squirt of fluid against TD.

He feels her soak him and he groans, hips moving erratically as he presses against her, burying TD inside and coming hard, groaning against her lips as he does.

She moved her hips against his until he came and she groaned, panting against his lips. She hugged him tight and nuzzled against the side of his face. "I love you, Steve. I love you so much."

"I love you too baby" he said softly, moving his head back so he could look at her, "You're so beautiful, so so beautiful" he said gently, kissing her lips softly.

She looked up at him with her big, blue eyes and brushed her hand across his cheek and into his hair as he spoke. She deepened that kiss a moment and then pulled away to bury her face in his neck. "We should probably get dressed and go see the kids and I know you're hungry."

He sighs, content in this moment and for a fleeting second he forgets the events from earlier that day and then she mentions the kids and he feels a lump in his throat, gently setting her down and kissing her forehead, "I love you, you should have somethin' to eat too" he said softly, tugging the curtain back and pulling the two towels in just as he reaches to shut the water off, wrapping a towel around her and then the other around his waist.

She wouldn't have rushed them but she had plans if he wanted to go through with them. She kept her arms around him even when her feet were back on the floor until he got them both towels. She wrung out her hair and fixed the towel on her so it would stay put. "I'll eat, promise. I was thinking that after we eat, maybe your parents would take care of the kids tonight and we could come back up here and it be just the two of us. I just wanna forget about everything tonight but me and you."

He smiled gently after he steps out of the shower and moves his hands to cup her face, "I'll make ya a deal, you eat a decent meal tonight and we'll come back up here and do whatever you want for however long you want" he said softly, kissing her forehead and taking her hand, heading out of the bathroom and grabbing a clean pair of boxers, jeans and a plain black tshirt, tugging everything on and looking at her, "I know you're hurtin' Sam, and I ... I know it ain't gonna be easy but I'm gonna get you through this, we're gonna get through this together, okay?"

"And if I don't, are you gonna put me out on the porch with the dogs?" she asked, still looking up at him. She was teasing him but she barely got a smile out of herself. She just wanted the two of them alone together. She let him lead her to the bedroom and she put on some panties and a pair of pajamas. It was still early but she was comfortable and she wanted to come back upstairs and crawl into bed later. She brushed her hair out while he spoke, nodding her head but not looking at him. "I know. I just...she's gone, Steve and she's not coming back." she sniffled, moving closer and hugging him tight.

He rubs his hand over his face and chin, happy he could wait another day or two to shave and he watches her brush her hair out, "I know she is, but ... we can't be sad forever baby, she wouldn't want that, she wouldn't want you to stop smilin', and laughin' and livin' your life" he said softly, moving to rub a hand over her back, "It's gonna be okay, each day it's gonna get a little easier"
